February 7, 2013
Today was a full day. Sarah had gymnastics and then her Juniorette meeting. Tonight was her first night as President. Tiffany resigned due to her heavy school load and getting things together for college. It was raining and we had to arrive early since we had to open the house and set up tonight. Sarah called the meeting to order and read the inspiration. The Pledge of Allegiance, Juniorette Pledge and welcome to everyone were then completed. Sarah then explained the change in leadership and recommened that Megan become the Vice President/Treasurer. This was motioned, seconded and passed. Bears were collected to be donated to the Childrens Hospital at a later date. They talked about projects for the rest of the year. A time was set to go to B C Grammar #1 on March 1st to read to children for Dr Seuss' Birthday. They decided to participate in Relay for Life, collect socks for Sistercare and collect childrens books to donate. They also decided to have a social in May, possibly at Lauren and Anna's. They also completed a signup sheet for refreshments for the rest of the meetings. They meeting was concluded and refreshments enjoyed. I could tell that Sarah was nervous to be in front of people talking but she did well and will continue to improve as time goes by.
December 16, 2012 Hollywood Studios
Today we head to Sarah's favorite park, Hollywood Studios. Of course to the Tower of Terror we must go. We did a lot of shopping and looking around because this is a fantastic park. We ate at Hollywood and Vine. It is a great little cafe atmosphere with a good buffet. At the pasta bar they cook it to your order, very yummy. Such a nice waitress. After supper we went to the Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights. I don't have words to describe the magic I felt. How I love lights and Christmas music. What a wonderful, wonderful night to be spending with James and Sarah. How I love my family and my life. I'm not sure what I ever did to deserve these blessings, but I'm so grateful for them.

membership this year. An afternoon
watching the penquins swim is a great
way to relax. Many days we will go out
and just spend an hour or two. How I
love my family and am thankful for the
opportunity to just be with them. How
December 17, 2012 Epcot
Today we head back to Epcot. I love Epcot. Today we toured the Land and saw some more of the countries. We rode the boat through the Land exhibit. How very interesting. It talked about farming through the years and all the advancements in growing food. So many great ideas. They even had a setup of aquaponics, how very cool. Then we ate at the Garden Grill. This is Sarah's
favorite. The floor rotates. The food is okay but the characters are great. Chip and Dale are very entertaining and really interact with you. We also enjoyed Mickey. Today was a great day. This has been such a great vacation.

December 18, 2012 Magic Kingdom
Today it's back to Magic Kingdom. This is not a favorite of any of us, but we are to eat at the Crystal Palace tonight. The castle is really beautiful tonight. The experience at Crystal Palace was less than desirable. After supper, we decided to head for home tonight instead of tomorrow. We did some last minute shopping and checked out. Sarah is sick and James doesn't feel very well right now, so home will be very welcome. It was a great drive that went really smooth, just took my time and listened to praise. This was an amazing week and I'm so glad we got to spend this time together. This was truly the best Christmas gift I could ask for. We have been to This Man Called Jesus, The Singing Christmas Tree, Saluda Shoals, The Lights at the Zoo, Swan Lake and this week at Disney. I could not have asked for a better gift than these precious memories with my family. I'm truly blessed beyond measure.
December 14, 2012
Today we were off to Epcot. We tasted different flavors of coke from the different countries. Some were interesting, some were just nasty. We went to the Showcase of the countries and just walked around through the countries today.
We had supper at Biergarten, a German buffet where you share a table with two other families. It was a great experience. One family was from Virginia who had a four year old named Thad. He went out on the dance floor and danced with the show. He was very pleasant and entertaining. The other couple was from California. We had a great time.
We stayed until 12:30 and rode Maelstrom, the Test Track, and the Epcot Ball.

Feb 1, 2013 Our New Additions
On January 6th Sarah set the incubator with forty two eggs (18 Wellsummer and 24 Golden Lace Wyandott). As the weeks have passed we have watched them daily. On Saturday they started hatching. Today we moved 29 outside to the brooder. Now we will watch them grow. The process never fails to excite us all..
February 16, 2013
Today while we were eating at Shoney's in Florence, it started snowing. Big white flakes. It is sticking to the ground but not on the roads yet. By the time we got to Timmonsville, it was only raining. We left for home around 8:30pm
and it was like driving into a white tunnel. We drove 35 miles per hour on I-20. Who would have thought snow today? Of course no camera, so no pictures. Oh well at least we got to see it. What a wonderful treat, at least after we made it safely home.

Thursday 2-19-2013
Today we got a new baby goat. She is chocolate brown and so adorable. Sarah named her Bam Bam. Go figure. School, gymnastics, errands, and a nice supper at Jasmine's. What a good day.
January 15, 2013
Today Ryan Iley Boney was born. What a wonderful day. A new granddaughter. I can't wait to spoil her rotten. It seems that Spencer is okay with her. This is a good thing.
Saturday 3-9-2013
Today I woke up not feeling well. Not sleeping in my own bed, not enough rest, just drained. We rode through Florence before going to the auction and saw the last remaining Redbone Alley. Sarah said that she would treat us if it would make me feel better. Such a sweet one. It was a great meal, Chicken Mosiac with Garden Salad. It has been a long time, and it brought back many sweet memories. I really needed that most of all. Thank you Sarah. I love you so much.
January 25, 2013
Tonight Sarah got all dressed up and attended the Shield Formal. She looked
so beautiful. I can hardly believe my baby is growing up so fast. She said she had a great time and from the pictures it sure looks like it.

Halloween at the Auction
Sarah came up with the idea of a costume contest for the auction. So we made up four different age groups and were off and running. We had a great day. Sarah also dressed up for her Juniorette meeting. She had fun this Halloween.
Halloween 2013
We went to Sonic to eat before going to JL and Jamie's to trick or treat with the kids. Sarah took a picture with the girl that worked at Sonic. We then went to see the babies and trick or treat. We had a lot of fun. Take a look.
Thanksgiving 2013
We have so many blessings to give thanks for this year. We have each other. I'm so thankful for our family. I thank God every day for bringing James into our lives. What a wonderful change this has made in our lives. Sarah continues to grow and become a wonderful young woman. She is a hard worker and has a great sense of humor. What a delight she is. This year Philip has matured and seems to be finding himself. Megan is
studying for her GED and expecting a baby in March. So many changes to come. I look forward to this new journey. JL and Jamie are holding up well through many challenges that are coming their way. They have bought a beautiful new home and continue pushing on. We love them so much. Spencer, my sweet grandson, how I love this little boy who brings so much joy to our lives. The sound of his voice telling me that he loves me can make all right in my world. This year we were blessed with our beautiful Ryan Iley. What a delight. She is beautiful. Kevin, Jill and Trent are a blessing to our family. Jill finished school this year and started a new job that she really likes. Kevin started a new job that he loves, and continues to work many side jobs as well as the cows.
THANK YOU LORD FOR MY FAMILY!!!! How blessed I am. How grateful I am every day for so many blessings I love you all.

August 15, 2013 Thursday
Today was a great day. I was feeling really homesick, so I cooked gumbo,
jambalya, corn casserole, sweet potato casserole, potato salad, Cajun cornbread dressing and Sarah made cherry cheesecake. Mom came over and
spent the day. She celebrated her 70th birthday Tuesday. I thought she would
enjoy a Cajun meal instead of going out to eat. We had a lot of fun. Time in the kitchen cooking with my mom and Sarah. not to mention that the food was awesome. I have so much to be thankful for. And today was one of those days.

IgIV again May 24,25,and 26th 2013
Another round of IgIV treatments. This time a home health nurse came out to the house and completed them. This was much better for our family. Sarah did
much better with James being here instead of at the infusion center. She worries so much. But God is good and things are slowly getting better.

Thursday May 30, 2013
Today was such a great day. Sarah and I spent the day together as a girls day out. We had so much fun. We went to Red Lobster to eat. We just sat and talked for a long time. How I love this child of mine who is no longer a child, but a young lady. She has become someone that I not only love but that I really like. What a rare gift. Thank you Lord for this gift. For this special young woman who is her own person with a great sense of humor and quick wit. She makes me laugh. We had a great time shopping and sharing our lives. I need to remember to slow down and enjoy more days like this.
May 10, 2013 Relay for Life
Tonight was the Juniorettes participation in the Relay for Life at White Knoll High School. Sarah, Della, Megan, Sam and myself showed up. We set up a canopy and tables. The girls had baked brownies, rice krispies treats, and had water and sodas for sale. Sarah put out a jar the last three Saturdays to collect
money to reach her personal goal of $100.00 at the auction. She made an announcement and explained what it was for and about the Juniorettes and the people were very generous to her. She collected $183.00. I'm so proud of the effort she put into this event. She was very excited about it and really pushed for the participation. We were out there from about 6:30 till 12:30.

June 21, 2013 At the Zoo with Kimmie
Today we took Susannah and Kimmie to the zoo. It was Kimmie's first visit to the zoo.
We followed her around looking at animals for awhile and then we took her to ride the
train, which she loved. She showed no fear of the ponies. By the time we got to the carousel she was calling for "my Sarah".

Valentine's Day 2-14-2013
So many blessings today. Just waking up to the everyday happenings at our home brings great joy. The sight of Sarah doing her school work, the sound of the washer, the smell of supper cooking. It truly is the everyday things that bring the most joy. To slow down and enjoy each day to the fullest without any worries for tomorrow. What an awesome God we serve. Today we have two new baby goats. Midnight and Bella
had their babbies. Sarah is so excited.

Tomorrow is James' birthday but Sarah has celebrated it early this year. Last night we met JL, Spencer, Kevin, Jill and Trent at The Olive Garden for a birthday supper. Sarah planned it and called everyone to surprise her Dad. We went over to see Jamie and Ryan after supper. We had a great time. Then today she baked a birthday cake for him. So she has celebrated it with him for several days now.
Snow Feb 11-14
Tonight while at work it started snowing. Lots of snow and sleet. It is a white
winter wonderland. Not such a great driving experience but so beautiful. Wish I was at home with James and Sarah. Sarah is outside taking pictures of course. I am so glad that she loves to take pictures. We were snowed in for three days.
